- Identify developmental and gateway courses with high enrollment and high DFWI rates in order to increase student achievement
- Improve College Seminar, a course designed to help students meet the demands of college life and required of students placed into two or more developmental courses
- Strengthen student advising programs
- Establish a focused early-alert system to better identify students who may need additional academic or other support
- Strengthen diversity efforts
- Enhance professional development and instructional methods and assessment, especially for faculty and staff in the areas with large populations of at-risk students
