The Michigan Community College Association represents all 28 public community colleges in Michigan. The Association is governed by a Board of Directors composed of the president and trustee from each member college. Its mission is to advocate for the collective legislative and other state-level goals of its member colleges, to benefit residents of the state. The MCCA Board of Directors meets quarterly.

ACHIEVING THE DREAM WORKPLAN PRIORITIES
1. Data and Performance Measurement - Establish a plan for the State of Michigan to develop a postsecondary database.
2. Student Success - Link Achieving the Dream to Other state initiatives, most specifically the implementation of No Worker Left Behind to leverage increased student success of adult community college students. Identify the state policy barriers to the successful implementation of the Achieving the Dream colleges student success innovations and disseminate finding to state leadership team to inform state-level advocacy efforts.
