South Georgia Technical College
Through the support of the Network, South Georgia Technical College plans to improve systemic data practices by extracting and analyzing data necessary to make data-informed decisions regarding student learning outcomes, program needs, as well as strengthening the college’s capability and capacity to utilize student data. The college also plans to refine their research and documentation process as it relates to program implementation and evaluation, as well as identify new strategies for student success that strengthen learning supports and retention.
Located in the heart of Southwest Georgia, South Georgia Technical College is a residential college offering the latest in technical education and an exciting campus life for every student. Students can choose to attend college at one of two campuses, the main campus in Americus or the Crisp County Center located in Cordele.
SGTC seeks to prepare individuals for success in the workforce by providing accessible, high-quality associate of applied science degrees, diplomas, technical certificates of credit, and non-credit programs and services that support the needs of citizens, businesses, and industries within our service delivery area in Southwest Georgia.
SGTC’s vision is to increase enrollment in all demographic groups while also implementing actions that will retain as well as increase the educational outcomes of its entire student body.
