Learn about Achieving the Dream's on-going study of promising practices across colleges focused on articulating non-credit to credit credentials and ensuring strong career pathways for students who start on the non-credit ramp. Over the past year, Achieving the Dream has been working to identify colleges and will present initial findings from our research during this one hour webinar.

The speaker for this webinar is Dr. Andrew Ippolito. As a higher education consultant, Dr. Ippolito has over a decade of experience serving within the community college environment, where he has devoted his career to student success. Dr. Ippolito earned his doctorate in molecular and cellular biology before serving for over a decade as an administrator and faculty member in various capacities. Dr. Ippolito has also earned awards for his leadership in innovation and dedication to student success. He served as the primary author for Montgomery County Community College’s winning submission for Achieving the Dream’s Leah Austin Meyer’s award in 2014. During this time Dr. Ippolito won the Innovation of the Year award for his work in developing undergraduate engineering research initiatives. Throughout his tenure as an administrator, Dr. Ippolito provided leadership and guidance within an array of areas including program assessment, data analytics, and strategic planning. In addition to his consulting work, Dr. Ippolito currently teaches a range of biology classes at both the two- and four-year level.
