Structured Pathways

Structured Pathways are aimed at decreasing the average time to degree, decreasing the number of semester credit hours taken and at increasing the number of completers at Grayson College, structured pathways will focus on the development of clearly defined and structured degree/certificate pathways.  Structured pathways will provide students with a streamlined and focused sequence of courses to ensure timely completion of credentials. Initiatives include: a comprehensive review and analysis of all existing degree and certificate programs offered; the development of Grayson Pathways to transfer; the creation of a year-long schedule to include a review of scheduling to meet the needs of all students including FT, PT, and evening students; the development of transfer guides and transfer pathways with partner four-year universities; the development of a comprehensive faculty advising/coaching program; and the development of interventions for at-risk students who get "off-track."
