College nabs $100,000 ‘Dream’ grant

LAKE JACKSON — Selected as one of 15 community colleges across the country to win a $100,000 Walmart Foundation grant, Brazosport College now has more money to put toward student success, officials said.

“We’re very delighted that our application was selected,” Brazosport College President Millicent Valek said.
