Lauren Lewis is the Communications Manager for Achieving the Dream, Inc. In this role, Lauren coordinates all strategic communications and marketing for Achieving the Dream, including media outreach, web strategy, paid media, publications, branding, and stakeholder relations.
Prior to her role with Achieving the Dream, Lauren served as Communications Manager and Graduate Admissions Assistant (contract) at Georgetown University in the District of Columbia, the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor for Dorchester Media in New York, and Editorial and Marketing Assistant for Lockwood Publications in New York.
During her time as a reporter for The Arizona Daily Wildcat, Lauren earned the William Randolph Hearst Foundation Journalism Award for Feature Writing for a piece she authored in 2005 called, “Whatever it takes to be thin.”
Educational Background: Lauren attended Northern Virginia Community College for two semesters and transferred to the University of Arizona at Tucson where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and minored in Pre-Law.
