Marisol Arredondo is currently the Director of Institutional Research at Chapman University in Orange, California and a Data Coach for Achieving the Dream. As a Data Coach for Achieving the Dream, Dr. Arredondo works with Alvin College and Richland College in Texas.
Prior to her role with Achieving the Dream and Chapman University, she worked at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she served as a Research Associate in the Office of Institutional Research and Planning. Previously she worked as a Research Analyst at the Higher Education Research Institute at UCLA.
Dr. Arredondo has been a member of the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) since 1998 and currently serves on the AIR Professional Development Services Committee. She has several years of experience in the research field and has a strong background in higher education, student development, and assessment.
Educational Background: Dr. Arredonda holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education and Organizational Change, a M.A. in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in counseling, and a B.A. in Psychology--all from the University of California, Los Angeles.
