Senior Director of Data Coaching and Data Strategy & Data Coach

Rhonda Glover is Senior Director of Data Coaching and Data Strategy for Achieving the Dream, Inc. In this role, she is responsible for the recruitment, coordination, and professional development of all Data Coaches, ensuring that their consultation, site visits, and related activities are of the highest value and impact, and that Achieving the Dream provides participating institutions with the tools, resources, and training modules necessary to increase student success. Additionally, Glover is responsible for architecting robust and comprehensive strategies that allow the Achieving the Dream Network to better leverage data.

In the six years prior to joining Achieving the Dream full time, Glover served as a Data Coach for 12 Achieving the Dream Colleges, five of which are Leader Colleges located throughout six states: Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas. 

Previously, Glover gained three decades of higher education administration and instructional experience, and acquired first-hand knowledge of Achieving the Dream’s Student Centered Model of Institutional Improvement during her leadership tenure at Valencia College. Valencia was one of the first 26 institutions selected to pioneer the national Achieving the Dream initiative in 2004. Five years later, the institution achieved Achieving the Dream Leader College status and became the first recipient of Achieving the Dream’s Leah Meyer Austin Institutional Student Success Leadership award, and in 2011, the first recipient of the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence.  Glover completed her professional career at Valencia in 2007 and holds an Emeritus title for the position of Assistant Vice President, Institutional Research and Learning Assessment.

Educational Background: Glover earned both Bachelor and Master Degrees from Rollins College, Winter Park, FL, and completed post-graduate coursework at Oxford University, UK.
