The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is a two-college district serving about 30,000 students in eastern San Diego County, CA. Grossmont College, which opened in 1961, offers more than 150 degree and certificate programs, including administration of justice, allied health, culinary arts, and theatre arts. Cuyamaca College, which began serving students in 1978, has more than 140 degree and certificate programs, including renowned programs in ornamental horticulture, auto technology, water/wastewater technology, and paralegal studies.
