“We want to provide the support that allows a student to easily enter the doors of our college and feel an immediate sense of belonging; build a pathway that guides their academic journey; acquire knowledge and skills for professional, career, and civic goals and responsibilities; receive wrap- around support for goal achievement and an appreciation of differences. These are Columbia State’s goals in conjunction with increased student retention and completion. Principal to our partnering with ATD is to develop a systematic use of evidence-based practices that lead to increased student success.”–Dr. Janet F. Smith. president, Columbia State Community College
