ATD is proud to be a partner in this nationwide effort to help students navigate the financial aid process. SwiftStudent, launched April 15, 2020, is a free digital resource that helps students request changes to their college financial aid packages. Through SwiftStudent, students can learn about the financial aid appeal process, review eligibility requirements, and customize free template appeal letters to submit to their college financial aid office. SwiftStudent addresses the barriers students face and saves time for financial aid officers.

The SwiftStudent Initiative was organized by the Seldin/Haring-Smith Foundation, with help from national organizations like ATD and others who are committed to finding ways to help students—all students—succeed. This new tool could help the millions of Americans who have lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which likely affects the financial situations of many college students.

Please join us in this nationwide webinar to learn about how SwiftStudent can help students across the country begin to knock down some of the barriers they face in paying for their education.
