During this two-day virtual institute, participants will engage in peer learning and facilitated conversations focused on centering equity in teaching and learning, examining classroom-based practices and student data, and designing an action-based strategy for implementing equitable instructional models that support student success. Attendees will gain practical strategies for addressing their own equity challenges and be empowered to address inequities in the classroom and at their institutions.

This virtual event is designed to support individual or teams of faculty, faculty developers, department chairs and deans, chief academic officers and provosts.
Learning Objectives
At the end of the institute, participants will:
- be able to articulate what it means to take an equity-focused approach to their classroom practice
- be able to initiate a process of implementing instructional practices designed to close equity gaps.
- understand the importance of analyzing disaggregated student outcome data to identify equity gaps in their courses.
- support colleagues in the examining disaggregated student outcome data
- be empowered to address inequities in their classrooms and at their institutions
