Family Economic Security Program (FESP)

The FESP program uses case management and interventions aimed at improving the economic security of working parents to support them to graduation and transfer. Almost all of the participants in this program are women who are single parents. The program started in 2008 and each year enrolled a new cohort of 20 students. Graduation rates for these students are double those of the comparison group.  The program provides students with academic and financial coaching in an effort to help them strengthen themselves in four areas: academic, financial, career and personal.
