Multiple Measures of Placement

Multiple Measures of Placement allows for the use of various methods of placement methods using the following established placement hierarchy. 

  1. Graduation from high school within five years, completion of four eligible math high school math courses, and  an unweighted high school GPA of 2.6 or higher. 
  2. Appropriate ACT or SAT test scores
  3. Appropriate Placement Test Scores

Students may place out of developmental studies using any of the above placment methods.  This policy was based on research completed by the Community College Research Center at Columbia University.
