Dual Enrollment Program

Bunker Hill Community College's Dual Enrollment Program enables local high school students to earn high school and college credits simultaneously while gaining familiarity with the college experience.  The program also allows students to complete pre-requisite courses to some of our most selective programs while in high school, so they can start the program immediately after graduation. BHCC operates a dual enrollment scholarship program at the BHCC campus, as well as delivery of dual enrollment courses onsite at partner high schools and community organizations.  In 2014-2015, the College provided 637 scholarships to students from 30 high schools, while 232 students took dual enrollment classes at partner high schools and CBOs in fall 2014, with a total success rate of 82 percent. Students are provided scholarships through College funding and the Commonwealth Dual Enrollment Partnership. The students are immersed in the courses on the regular College schedule at all campus locations.
