Student Navigation Pathways

Richland College is developing a set of well-defined student pathways to improve student milestone completion.  A Student Navigation/Pathways planning team has identified and defined key pathways with concise user-friendly degree plans, a first-year schedule for first-time-in-college (FTIC) students and consistent messaging for FTIC students.  Advisors have defined the components of case management expectations including varying levels of case management for each pathway.  Richland College has purchased the ZogoTech Student Tracker Software to enhance the advisors' ability to case manage.  Exceptional customer service expectations have been identified and professional development is being deployed and will continue.  This approach is expected to improve student success, milestone completion rates, student satisfaction, and provide greater equity for all students.
