Accelerated Learning Project (ALP)-Mathematics

Math 123 is a new four-credit, five-contact hour accelerated STEM math option for students placing into upper level developmental mathematics (or earning a 4.0 in a lower-level developmental math course).  This accelerated course combines elementary and intermediate Algebra into one intensive semester. At the conclusion of Math 123, successful students move straight to College Algebra. The goal of the ALP is to accelerate students’ progress through the necessary developmental coursework and eliminate a common exit point.
