Harvey Lincoln Scholarship Fund

The Harvey Lincoln Scholarship Fund provides need-based scholarships for community college students who have persisted in their studies despite educational, personal, or financial obstacles and are attending Achieving the Dream Institutions. The scholarship award is $1,000. The inaugural scholarship award will be made to one student in 2018

About Harvey Lincoln

Harvey Lincoln, whom we lost in 2016, was married to Achieving the Dream’s long-serving Senior Vice President Carol Lincoln. Harvey was, in every sense of the word, a true supporter of Achieving the Dream and an advocate for low-income students and students of color. Harvey was also one of Achieving the Dream’s most ardent volunteers. Achieving the Dream is honoring his legacy by providing scholarship opportunities to determined and engaged students.

Harvey Lincoln Scholarship Fund student scholarship nominations may be made by staff, faculty members, or administrators at Achieving the Dream institutions, referred to below as the “college sponsor.”

The college sponsor must submit the online scholarship nomination form, supplying information about the student being nominated for the scholarship and submitting the student’s short scholarship essay.
