ATD In The Field & In the News

The Achieving the Dream team is in the field this week on campus site visits and participating in summits, conferences, workshops, and meetings across the country. Keep up with us on Twitter @achievethedream.

We are continuing to spend time on campuses to help our Network colleges celebrate the beginning of another academic year. We’re participating as guests and as speakers at many opening convocation ceremonies and look forward to continuing our work with the Network.

Call for Proposals for our special 15th Anniversary DREAM 2019 Convening is now open!

We invite you to submit proposals for three types of learning sessions:

  • Student Pathways Sessions: Sessions focus on both progress and set-backs that colleges experienced in their student success and equity work.
  • Tackling Tomorrow’s Challenges Sessions: Presentations focus on areas that challenge the relevance of community colleges going forward, require our Network's innovative thought leadership to solve, and demonstrate promising solutions.
  • 20 x 20 Presentations: Presentations describe a particular institutional or pedagogical practice and its impact on student outcomes, using 20 slides that automatically advance every 20 seconds.

Student Pathways and Tackling Tomorrow's Challenges Sessions proposals are due September 28, 2018.
20x20 Presentation proposals are due November 16, 2018.
