ATD In The Field & In the News

The Achieving the Dream team is in the field this week on campus site visits and participating in summits, conferences, workshops, and meetings across the country. Keep up with us on Twitter @achievethedream.

Almost 250 higher education leaders and professionals from two- and four-year institutions gathered at Achieving the Dream’s fourth annual Data & Analytics Summit last week to learn how to use data more effectively to advance student success.  ATD President and CEO Dr. Karen A. Stout offered a keynote address on the importance of developing a balanced data strategy that connects to student success work. Attendees also gleaned insights from experts on using leading and lagging indicators to propel change, creating business-industry-college partnerships to build “Big Data” career pathways, and including the voices of students in building analytics that affect them. Concurrent sessions and receptions offered more opportunities for Summit participants to learn from their peers. Next year’s Summit will take place in September in College Park, MD.

Many of us are on campuses across the country, meeting with Network colleges about pathways, teaching and learning, student success centers, and more.
