Leading for Student Success Institute

Dr. Karen A. Stout, president and CEO, is participating as a faculty member in Harvard Graduate School of Education’s inaugural Leading for Student Success Institute. During the three-day institute, Dr. Stout will speak about the “Role of Presidents, Boards and Networks in Student Success” and will work with college and university teams to develop and critique their student success plans.

Gateway to College Directors convening

Dr. Karen A Stout, Emily Froimson, executive vice president, and Nick Mathern, vice president of K-12 partnerships, will be participating in the Gateway to College Directors convening in Connecticut.

Jobs For the future Summer policy institute

Dr. Ruanda Garth-McCullough, associate director of teaching and learning,  Shauna Davis, executive director of holistic student supports, and Dr. Ryan Kelsey, chief strategy and innovation officer, are in Florida attending the JFF Summer Policy Institute.


Society for College and University Planners Conference

Laurie Heacock, senior advisor, data and analytics, is presenting at the Society for College and University Planners Conference. Her presentation is titled, "Assessing Institutional Capacity for Mission-Fulfillment and Student Success” and features the work of Pierce College District.

Network Visits

Shara Davis, strategic data and technology coach, is visiting Texas for a coach visit. 

Khalisa Jacobs, director of development, is attending a Gates convening on K-12 connections in Washington, DC.

Elayne Reiss director of research, will be presenting at SheEO presenting on Institute for Higher Education Policy for the field-driven metrics framework. She is also on a panel discussing Parallel Data Processing.

2019 ATD Data & Analytics Summit: Data & Analytics Through an Equity Lens September 11 – 13, 2019

The fifth annual Summit will bring together more than 250 higher education professionals for a deep dive into the data and technology capacity area of ATD’s Institutional Capacity Framework. Programming is designed around three tracks to help institutions: (1) improve student success outcomes by building capacity and a comprehensive, aligned strategy to support a culture of inquiry and evidence; (2) examining the use of data as a lever in pathways reform; and (3) improving institutional effectiveness practices. Each track incorporates equity-minded practices.
