National Convening Provides Forum for Learning and Sharing Strategies for Success for all Students

DREAM 2020 Registration Now Open

DREAM is the country’s premier convening for learning and sharing about practice, research, and trends in strategies that address system inequities within higher education to increase social and economic mobility for all students and families.

The national convening provides opportunities for administrators, faculty, researchers, policymakers, and advocates to share ideas and solutions for evidence-based reform strategies through hundreds of presentations, plenaries, panel discussions, and networking.

The 2020 event in National Harbor, MD, features the Second Annual ATD Equity Institute on February 18—a full-day, interactive session for institutional teams from community colleges and four-year colleges and universities to develop a deeper understanding of what equity means on their campus, and draft an Equity Vision Statement that describes what they want for their incoming Fall 2020 students.

It also features a dozen pre-conference workshops ranging in topics from designing faculty professional learning, addressing economic mobility, designing a holistic student supports approach, and using Postsecondary Data Partnership (PDP) resources to communicating with data and analytics, increasing equity through K-12 partnerships, an interactive open educational resources (OER) workshop, and a leadership development academy for faculty and middle managers. A Colloquium for campus presidents, chancellors, and CEOs only is offered on February 19.

The nation’s top leaders in equity, higher education leadership, data and analytics, teaching and learning, OER, tribal colleges and universities, policy, and more will present views, ideas, challenges, and solutions throughout the four-day conference.

This annual event brings together more than 2,000 participants from colleges, universities, K-12 schools, foundations, and other organizations committed to improving student success.
