ATD Student Scholar Program Accepting Applications

Achieving the Dream (ATD) is seeking exemplary students to apply for the 2020 DREAM Scholars Program. The program provides students from active ATD Network institutions with a robust learning experience, professional development activities, and the opportunity to engage with their college’s Core Team, Achieving the Dream staff, and renowned educator Dr. Joye Hardiman. DREAM Scholars will attend the 2020 DREAM convening at National Harbor, MD, February 18-21.

During the convening, the Scholars talk with experts, share their educational experiences, and attend sessions on improving student success, institutional governance, teaching and learning, administration, and more. The DREAM Scholars also present what they have learned about Network colleges’ efforts to improve their students’ success and completion and close achievement gaps for historically underserved student populations. In addition to the learning experience provided to students, the DREAM Scholars program integrates student voice and student experience into Achieving the Dream’s annual DREAM conference.
