Shanah Taylor

Shanah Taylor is Achieving the Dream's Coordinator, Teaching and Learning who supports and assists in the coordination of a variety of essential functions for this important and innovative team. This includes providing operational support, grant compliance, and communications assistance.

Over the past eight years, Shanah was focused on enhancing her team building, organizational development, and mentoring skills. Prior to joining Achieving the Dream she worked as the Administrative & Membership Coordinator at The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors where she assisted with annual dues outreach as well as maintained internal payroll/ human resources procedures. She played a vital role in monthly new member outreach and cultivated relationships amongst SIOR’s Members. Shanah has volunteer coordinator experience providing resources to those considered unemployed or underemployed in Prince Georges County, Maryland.  In this role she held weekly job readiness workshops and secured work/ volunteer sites for the program participants.

Educational Background: Shanah earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Sociology from Trinity Washington University and earned a Master’s of Science in Administration focused in Non-Profit Management from Trinity Washington University
