Ben Tankus

Ben is a Data Analyst for ATD’s Gateway to College initiative. He works with the Gateway to College programs on their data collection and reporting which entails maintaining the database, providing technical assistance, and reporting for program improvement and stakeholders.

Ben has experience in both Data Analytics and Engineering in multiple fields both in Oregon and Thailand. Most recently he was a Manufacturing Engineer in the New Product Integration team at Lam Research and oversaw the validation and stabilization process of new semiconductor equipment designs.

He also has worked as an Industrial Engineering consultant in the Healthcare field. Ben led a team of seven other engineering students for six months to reduce physician burnout at a local healthcare facility through improving efficiency. He later presented the results of this project at Stanford Medical School during the 2017 ACPH conference with the AMA and Mayo Clinic.

Ben received his B.S. in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Oregon State University.
