Dr. Tanya Scott

Dr. Tanya Scott is Associate Director, Teaching & Learning at Achieving the Dream. In this role she is responsible for managing a range of programs and projects designed to promote teaching and learning excellence across our network of Achieving the Dream colleges.

Dr. Scott is an educator and leader with more than 20 years of experience in teaching, program development, and educational leadership in middle school, high school, community college, and university settings in Canada and the United States. She has extensive teaching experience in teacher and curriculum development, instructional strategies, and integrating technology, as well as office and business administration, leadership, and computer technologies. Tanya also has a strong professional background serving in community colleges in various administrative roles, including program director, associate dean, and dean.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a graduate diploma in educational technology from Concordia University, Montreal; a graduate certificate in online teaching and learning from CSU East Bay; an M.S. in education from CSU East Bay; and a Ph.D. in business administration specializing in I/O psychology from Northcentral University.
