Dr. Tina Hart

Dr. Tina Hart recently retired as the vice president of enrollment and student services at Indian River State College, a comprehensive state college dedicated to serving 28,000+ students annually on the Treasure Coast of Florida. Prior to joining the Indian River team, she was the career placement specialist and diving coach at then Brevard Community College, now Eastern State College.

Dr. Hart received the President’s Cup – the highest award possible at IRSC — in 2014 and the Association of Florida Colleges Leadership Award in 2016. She was awarded the Florida Atlantic University, School of Education Alumni Leadership Award in January 2018. In 2016–17 she led the institution’s Aspen Community College Excellence Award process which resulted in IRSC being ranked as a Top Ten Finalist and named one of two colleges to be a “Finalist with Distinction.” Since retiring Dr. Hart has continued to support colleges, higher education organizations, and student success centers.

Dr. Hart has served on various local, state and national boards including the Hibiscus Children’s Center (HCC) Board of Directors, the HCC Executive Committee, the Clark Advanced Learning Center Management Board, Association of Florida Colleges (AFC) Board of Directors, Chair of the AFC Planning and Development Committee, the National Association for Two Year College Athletic Administrators Executive Committee, the Treasure Coast Sports Council, and the St. Lucie County Olympic Torch Relay Committee.

Dr. Hart holds a Ph.D. in higher education leadership, a master’s degree in counselor education from Florida Atlantic University, and a bachelor’s degree in social work from Florida State University.
