Achieving the Dream Board Chair Dr. Pam Eddinger to Deliver Annual Dallas Herring Lecture: Insights from the Pandemic: The Reckoning and the Hope at Our Nation’s Community Colleges

NC State to host virtual event on Tuesday, Nov. 10

What: The College of Education’s Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research at NC State University honors the legacy of Dallas Herring, a pillar of the North Carolina Community College system by hosting the annual Dallas Herring Lecture.

When: Tuesday, Nov. 10 | 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Virtual registration is open.

Where: Zoom Platform

Who: Greetings will be offered from North Carolina Community College System’s Interim President Bill Carver, UNC System President Peter Hans, and NC State Chancellor Randy Woodson. Dr. Pam Eddinger will deliver the lecture from 1:20 to 2 p.m. Following this address, there will be a panel discussion that includes the president of Harper College (IL), Dr. Avis Proctor, president of El Paso County Community College (TX), Dr. William Serrata, and president of Central Piedmont Community College, Dr. Kandi Deitemeyer.
